Description

Experience the rich, nostalgic tones of vintage samplers with the D16 Group Decimort, an advanced bit crusher plugin specifically designed for musicians and producers who crave the warmth and distinct sound of classic digital hardware. This software meticulously emulates the audio characteristics of machines from the golden era of music production, offering you the flexibility to infuse your tracks with the iconic, gritty textures of retro devices.

Decimort stands out with its high-quality resampling engine that captures the essence of old-school gear. Unlike typical bit crushers, Decimort doesn't just reduce bit depth and sample rate; it replicates the entire signal processing path of vintage samplers, ensuring that your sound retains the unique coloration of the originals. With its intuitive interface, Decimort allows seamless integration into your workflow, offering precise control over parameters such as dithering, quantization, and image filtering. The result is a versatile tool that complements any genre, from electronic and hip-hop to rock and pop, providing a unique layer of character to your mixes.

I actually like this

While many software options such as bitspeek offer similar options in controls, This sees what its competitors offer and hleps them fold with more controls and sound options, Presets are okay and sound fairly on the dot for my vintage gear users. I like using it to give a "rated recording" sound to some of my files or to taper a mpc sound alike to make it sound sampled.

Great tool and should be in every studio if there isnt a decent bit crusher plugin available.
