Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7559) Review | PCMag

pcmag.com

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series (7559) shines as an affordable entry-level gaming laptop, delivering impressive performance with its solid build, 1080p display, and ample 1TB storage. It tackles gaming with ease, thanks to its Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M, though settings might need adjusting for top-tier graphics. Despite its heft and tinny speakers at high volumes, it excels in value, even rivaling costlier models in performance tests. This laptop's robust design, backlit keyboard, and extensive connectivity options make it an attractive choice for budget-conscious gamers, earning it an Editors' Choice nod.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 Notebook Review - NotebookCheck.net Reviews

notebookcheck.net

The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 impresses with its 4K touchscreen and strong gaming performance thanks to the GTX 960M GPU, making it a multimedia powerhouse. Maintenance is a breeze with easy access to key components. However, the notebook falls short with its flimsy build, lack of optical drive, and frustrating fan control. The glossy screen isn't practical for non-convertibles, and the keyboard is mediocre at best. High power consumption and scaling issues with the high-resolution display further dampen the experience. While it offers good performance, other options like the Acer Aspire VN7-572G offer better value.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 review: a solid gaming laptop for just $799 | Windows Central

windowscentral.com

The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 shines as a budget gaming laptop, offering solid performance for its $799 starting price. With a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB card, it's capable of running recent games smoothly, making it a top choice for gamers on a budget. While it lacks the premium build of the XPS 15, it compensates with easy upgradability, allowing users to enhance storage and RAM effortlessly. However, the included 5400 rpm hard drive causes slow loading times, which can be improved by adding an SSD. Despite its weight and bulk, the Inspiron 15 7559 is a great buy for those prioritizing gaming performance over portability.

Dell Inspiron 7559 review - the gaming arena has become even more spectacular | LaptopMedia.com

laptopmedia.com

Dell's Inspiron 15 7559 impresses with its gaming DNA at a budget-friendly price. Featuring a GTX 960M GPU, Intel Core i5 processor, and an IPS display, it caters to gamers without breaking the bank. The design is sleek with easy maintenance and a solid cooling system, while battery life is commendable for a gaming laptop. However, the screen's low brightness and limited sRGB coverage might disappoint those seeking vibrant visuals. Despite this, it remains a solid performer for casual gamers who value affordability and functionality over high-end specs.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 Review : Packaged for casual gamers and multimedia fans

digit.in

The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 is a solid choice for casual gamers and multimedia enthusiasts seeking a high-end portable workstation with 4K capability. Its sleek design and sturdy hinge are commendable, though the screen's fragility and wobble are drawbacks. Powered by an Intel Core i7-6700HQ and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M, it handles casual gaming well but lags behind superior gaming laptops like the Acer Predator 15. The glossy 15-inch 4K display offers excellent color and touch recognition, while connectivity options are robust. However, the battery life is underwhelming at just under 3 hours, and the keyboard feedback is average, with a less impactful subwoofer. Overall, it’s a maintenance-friendly laptop but not the go-to choice for hardcore gamers.

Good specs, poor build quaility

The hinges on this thing suck and shatter really easily. The headphones jack broke like a month after I got it too, after accidentally pushing down on the cord while it was plugged in - it should've been a little sturdier than that. Oh, and the screen has developed a discolored spot that moves around. Oh well, it's lasted me 3 years.

My experience with this laptop is a bit overwhelming, but it is very good to run games like Team Fortress 2 :) Overwhelming why?, well, this is my reason: When you render in After Effects or in Cinema 4D it takes about 5 hours longer as hell.
