Excellent free stereo positioning tool
Brilliant tool for stereo positioning & widening. The pan is more than a simple left/right panning, it does something to the audio that tricks the brain into thinking it's positioned in a 3D space. Try A/B testing it against a simple panner while listening on headphones & you'll hear the difference. It's also good for narrowing a stereo signal, so you can place it without overlapping other instruments in the mix. I use the Waves S1 Stereo Imager instead now, but honestly this gets very close to what the S1 does... and it's free.

I always wanted to control the orientation of my sounds, but I never thought that a single plugin was going to fix all my problems in that sense!
