Fracture Sounds Glacier Keys is a cinematic virtual piano instrument library that transforms the harmonics of a Steinway Model D concert grand into a shimmering, glass-like sound ideal for ambient, neo-classical, soundtrack, and cinematic music. It samples the unique technique of piano string harmonics where touching the string produces pure overtone tones making them playable across the keyboard with a distinctly ethereal timbre, unlike a traditional piano. The library includes mixable microphone positions (Close, Mid, Far), controllable mechanical noises and sympathetic resonance, and a set of evolving Atmosphere Layers that add depth and cinematic texture. With a refreshed interface and expanded controls in version 2.0, it offers responsive shaping tools and curated snapshots for quick access to expressive tones. Glacier Keys integrates fully with Komplete Kontrol hardware for hands-on control and is designed for composers and producers seeking expressive, evocative piano textures.
