A versatile, modern and distinguished instrument.

I do not own one, but I got to play with one during a friend's gig. It presents itself very simply to the untrained eye, but upon further inspection, you see this neat, handcrafted instrument has all sorts of tone controls and electronics. You can dial pretty much any tone you can think of, from a throaty "funk" electric sound to a very convincing, bassy, booming upright-esque timbre. However, it may not only sound but also feel different when dialling because of its semi-acoustic nature. You also get stuff like a custom integrated pre-amp and a 13 pin output, so the whole "you can dial pretty much any tone you want" goes up to 11 since you can synthesize your sound.

It is very comfortable, utterly pleasant to play, not in a childish or frantic "fun" way you get with other instruments, but in an "I feel privileged this instrument ended up in my hands" kind of way.
