Each Holstein Workshop violin is meticulously handcrafted by a single experienced luthier in a VSA award-winning workshop, ensuring an unparalleled level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
The pure Italian spruce top and Bosnian maple back and ribs (sourced from wood aged over a century) are selected to emulate the original's rich tonal qualities. A hand-carved Despiau "Three Tree" or Holstein Deluxe Bridge complements the fine ebony fingerboard and fittings, while the choice of Thomastik Dominant or Vision strings ensures a harmonious voice that resonates with clarity and warmth. Each instrument undergoes a bespoke setup in our Florida workshop, where expert adjustments bring out its full potential.
