This engine is a must, and powerfull and sounds great in preamp and amps if you set it up correctly
All the sounds, effects, mikes, cabs are efficient, the midi possibilities, the send return by loop, trhe software that helps you to create patches an improve your sounds. You can put effects before or after the amp, you have a mixer and use it with Variax guitars that contain RAM to stock settings, or emulation of other sound guitars, sitar, acoustic, simple coil or double and even piezzo. The PODHD500 is really the best maker of modelling sounds, and when you directly send the outputs to a mixer then amplify the same sound without touching anything like EQ or FX, just hear, you'll never be disappointed by the result, that sounds ............
