So beautiful it hurts...
This is the only bass I have bought because of "love at first sight". I was responding to a thread on some forum, and another poster put up a pic of one of his basses, with a ESP Ltd B-4E just sitting pretty in the background. I still can't remember which bass the pic was for, because all I could see was that B-4E... I ended up buying that exact bass from that dude, and it is even more beautiful in real life. The visible natural grain, the two-tone woods, the satin finish, the black chrome hardware, the elegant curves, all add up to create, for me, one of the most beautiful bass designs ever.
The only change I've made is some La Bella Black Nylon Tapewounds, and it plays almost as good as it looks (only because nothing can play as good as this looks!). It's a pleasure to look at, to hold, to play, and to listen to.

Superb quality and tone.
I got this bass about three months ago by ordering through Guitar Center, and I have not gone a day without playing it. The three-band EQ provides for many tone options, and the neck thru-body gives the option of actually maintaining a really low action, which I love. The price tag isn't terrible for the quality of this product.

Greatest playing Bass i have ever played!
I got my LTD B-4E at a local music shop. It was on B-stock, it had a tiny scratch from the factory on the back. Plays like butter and the tone is PERFECT. Great for Funk, Rock, Country, metal, anything!!!
