Description
Introducing the sE Electronics guitaRF, an innovative solution for isolating guitar cabinet sounds without the need for an expensive isolation booth. Designed to reduce stage bleed into guitar mics, it's a game-changer for both live performances and studio recordings.
This versatile acoustic shield is similar to the best-selling RF-X Reflexion Filter from sE, boasting a four-layer acoustic filter design. This includes an outer composite panel, a layer of acoustic-grade wool, an air gap for low-frequency isolation, and an inner layer of acoustic foam.
Its unique design features an integrated pass-through hole with a rubber-finned grip that securely holds virtually any dynamic or small-capsule mic. A double-cable clip is also included to keep your mic cables in place and prevent accidental tugs that could disrupt your setup.
But it's not just for guitar amps. The guitaRF can be used on keyboard amps, kick drums, hi-hat or snare isolation, vocal double miking, and acoustic guitars, making it an essential tool for any musician.

Lately Todd has been using a stereo rig live, consisting of a couple of Morgan amps miked up with sE's VR1 ribbon mics and guitaRF® Reflexion Filters®.
"I really love the guitaRF baffles for several reasons. First, they are a stealthy double mic stand that can hold a dynamic 57-style mic, and also a ribbon mic that's easily set up to have the capsules equidistant from the speaker cone to avoid nasty phase problems."
"The other big reason I love the guitaRFs is because I use Pro-Sonic clear plexi shields to block the loud guitar amps from bleeding into every other mic on stage, especially the 3 vocal mics up front."
"Before using the guitaRFs, I would get bounce-back from the hard plexi shields directly back towards the miked amp. The guitaRF completely solves that problem, besides being a sturdy mic stand."

"I’ve been using the guitaRF on every tracking date since I got it. It’s a terrific tool; I hear a clarity and isolation on the tracks. Makes it much easier to mix and phase align down the road."
"Just love it when something so simple makes such a huge difference. A new daily tool, thank you! GuitaRF!"
- Linda Taylor, guitarist (TV Show, "Whose Line Is It Anyway?")
