SocaLabs Commodore 64 SID: It’s Free, but Super Buggy

While the SocaLabs SID plugin captures the essence of the Commodore 64's iconic sound chip and offers a solid feature set for chiptune enthusiasts, its significant bugs severely impact usability. Users face frustrating audio freezes and complete failures during export, making it nearly impossible to share any creations. Though it's free and may work for some, the consistent glitches overshadow its potential, leaving it hard to recommend without reservations.

really fun to play around with, especally if you're trying to go for a more authentic feeling sound. only wish it had linux support
