Corvette Standard Fretless Review: It's my third bass and for where I am in my... | Warwick | Bass Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Warwick Corvette Standard Fretless receives high praise for its versatile sound, making it ideal for genres like rock, jazz, and funk. The reviewer appreciates its deep, full tone and adaptability, especially when paired with an Ampeq amp. Its construction is robust, though the finish is prone to scratches, requiring careful handling. The bass's fretless design and German craftsmanship, featuring Swamp Ash and Ovangkol woods, add to its appeal. While the lock straps are inconveniently small, the action and fit are near perfect. Overall, this bass is a favorite for its unique qualities and reliable performance, earning it a superb score.
