The Sycologic handles routing and program change commands for the entire keyboard rig. It can save up to 32 memories for instant recall on the remote controller. Each one will change the settings of the entire rig as you programmed it saving time going around changing sounds and such on each device. It handles up to 16 MIDI in and 16 MIDI out. The only flaws are that it could do with having more than 32 memory locations and the program change section only goes up to 99, but it was built in 1986...
Nonetheless, I couldn't run my rig without it!
