It's good but hard to read on a stage during sunlight. I had to make sort of shader over the screen from scotch tape in order to see it while playing summer festivals
It work fine in my opinion but you have get used to it. After dialling the compression knob past 4 the pedal starts to be noisy. Luckily the compression amount from 0-4 is enough for bass. The cool feature is that the EQ and Level knobs work even if compression is at 0 - so the pedal can also be used as a EQ or db booster.
I bought this bass as a backup of may vintage PB and didn't expect that it will sometimes become my primary guitar.
First of all it looks really astonishing. The Tidepool colour is just amazing. It's a really versatile - PB & JB pickups are everything a bassist could wish from a Fender bass. The the offset body and "C" Jazz bass style neck are super comfortable to play. The pickup signal is strong. The guitar has this vintage sound but with modern twist. The build quality is good but not perfect. Some frets seem to have a bit stoo harp edges and could use a little bit of polishing, the pickup controlling pots in my guitar were swapped- the front one controlled the bridge pickup and the back one controlled the neck which was weird - so was the factory pickup height setup. The saddle broke after 2 years of use and needed to be replaced. But despite few problems - it's a bass that really makes you fall in love with it.
Marvelous and really and underrated bass. It sounds great. It's made in USA in 81-83 in Fullerton factory and the name doesn't lie - the build quality and materials used are deluxe. The neck on this thing is a jewel. The "C" shape is diffwerent than the modern ones and in my opinion it's the most comfortable and amazing bass neck I have ever played. The body is smaller than the P-bass but Deluxe (b34) neck is full scale.
