Fabulous Unique fuzz

I used this on my guitar for a while. It was fine. Then my drummer started running her bass drum through it. Then it was sick.

This is a guitar.

I gutted it and put in new pickus. It's not special, really. Not unwieldy but also not super comfortable.

Great delay while it lasts.

I absolutely love the tape setting on this pedal, but beware because the footswitch will crap out on you.

Fantastic Tremolo!

I love this thing! You've got like 16 different waveforms that are endlessly tweakable, so you can create infinite textures.

Doesn't work with a looper

I wanted to replace my Boss TU-3 with this because of the smaller footprint. Unfortunately, the EHX-2020 wouldn't pick up a signal from my tuner output on my looper. Seriously disappointing. Still a solid tuner, but you have to plug straight into it.

Fantastic amp

This is a great amp. The dirty channel sounds great, and this is a great amp for hardcore/metal (if that's your thing). It also cleans up very nicely. The reverb isn't perfect, but it's good enough.

Solid EQ

I bought this expecting something along the lines of the Behringer EQ700, but this is a great graphic EQ that I find to be much less noisy than similarly-priced graphic EQs. My only complaint is that the enclosure and the stomp switch are plastic.

The screen lasted less than a month

I bought this from a Reverb shop that's supposedly a boutique based in Utah, but the package came from California and the box said it was made in China, so I don't know about all of that.

Good workhorse guitar

This came with a P90 in it, which is cool. I really dig the way my pedals respond to it. I did a treble-bleed mod to it and now it's gorgrous.

A practice amp

Do you have an electric guitar? You can play it through this.

just a bass

It's not spectacular. They're actually pretty overpriced new. The hardware is cheap and I don't know what was going on with the nut before I replaced it but the entire nut slot is COVERED in wood glue.

Excellent Distortion Pedal

This was my main distortion until I started playing the Orange. I did the Ruetz Mod to it, including replacing the 47 ohm resistor with a 1K pot. Now it's another noise bomb.

So I replaced the 560 ohm resistor with another 1K pot. Now I have full control over the distortion clipping range.

Reliable guitar

I've had this guitar since I was 20 years old (I'm 32 as of this writing). I bought it new for $230 and it came with a hard case. It survived my entire twenties (which is impressive, and I believe it is the only piece of equipment I own that did so. It's not the best guitar in the world, but it's a good guitar.

I wasn't giving Orange $40

Orange wants $40 for their dual footswitch. I was not into paying for that, so I used parts I had and made this. It's janky-looking, but it works (also 'janky' is kind of my aesthetic). One 1/4" jack is on the back and the second is on the right side. I didn't have any LEDs so unfortunately I just have to guess which channels are on when I turn on my amp. I'll make another one with LED indicators.

I broke it but it's cool. Stay tuned for v2.0

LOVE these picks

I got a sampler pack of these with assorted thickness because I read that Joan Jett used them exclusively. I switch between the heavier green and the lighter yellow one, but both are excellent picks. The "sawtooth" side is great for playing fast and getting a really powerful "wall of noise" kind of sound, and the two smooth ends are great for showing off by playing stupid blues solos.

The 1/8" connector broke.

As I was tuning up before rehearsal, my neck pickup started crackling and eventually quit working. After some investigating, I found that one of the wires connecting the 1/8" jack that goes into the pickup had broken at the solder. I didn't have a soldering iron handy so I fixed it with scissors and electrical tape and it works just fine now (though be warned that the wire colors on this harness don't match the adaptor cable that comes with all GFS Kwikplug pickups. Other than that, it's fine.

One-of-a-Kind

I built this guitar from an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. that I got second-hand. I've replaced everything but the neck and body (I like the shape/size) and turned this thing into a Monster.

Good chorus

I got this for $50 at a pawn shop after I moved across the country and didn't have anything to play through. It was in poor condition when I got it so I cleaned and refurbished it. The chorus is great. I've gotten some crazy sounds from this amp. However, there's no way to adjust the level of the effects loop, which is annoying. And, I mean, it's a Crate, so I wasn't expecting anything too great.

Heavy AF

I'm able to downtune to B standard and not get fret buzz from loose strings.

It was a good pedal

One weird thing about it was that the battery didn't have a place to be set, so it just kind of clanged around inside the pedal.
