Description

Unleash a sonic avalanche with the Dirty Haggard Audio Torsion, a fuzz pedal designed to redefine your rock or metal soundscapes. This pedal isn't just another fuzz; it's a powerhouse of innovation with three distinct gain stages and a built-in noise gate that seamlessly reduces unwanted hums and buzzes. With an eye on durability and performance, this pedal aims to be your secret weapon on stage and in the studio.

Say goodbye to radio interference and hello to pristine sound with its 2-stage RF rejection filter. The Torsion's tone controls go beyond the ordinary, featuring a Tilt and Midrange adjustment that lets you craft everything from classic mid-scooped sounds to a boosted midrange that ensures your riffs never get lost in the mix. Start with the gain knob at full throttle and dial back to your desired fuzz intensity—it's designed for those who crave a truly fuzzy experience over a mere overdrive.

Whether you're playing in a packed venue or jamming in your garage, the Torsion's power-supply filtering ensures that your pedalboard remains a fortress against the dreaded 120Hz ripple frequency. And with its linear-taper potentiometer, you can adjust the noise gate from subtle to extreme, adding a layer of customizable texture to your sound. Built with a robust circuit board and a power-hungry IC, this pedal requires a standard center-negative 9V power supply—perfect for those who demand reliability and excellence without compromise.

Key Features:

  • Original three-gain stage design

  • Gain knob for fine-tuning fuzz intensity

Dirty Haggard Audio Torsion Fuzz | Delicious Audio

delicious-audio.com

Dirty Haggard Audio's Torsion Fuzz is a formidable contender in the fuzz pedal arena, offering rich, saturated tones and an impressive range of sound control. Its two-stage RF rejection filter effectively eliminates unwanted interference, while the Tilt EQ and Mids knobs allow for precise sonic tailoring. However, the pedal's aggressive tone may not suit all players, and some may find the learning curve steep for optimal use. Overall, Torsion is a powerful tool for musicians looking to add a robust fuzz character, although it might demand a bit of patience to master.

Fabulous Unique fuzz

I used this on my guitar for a while. It was fine. Then my drummer started running her bass drum through it. Then it was sick.
