Brandon Flowers' Gear
Flowers' MicroKorg can be seen above his other keyboard at 1:36 in this live video of "Mr. Brightside".
Flowers can be seen playing the Nord Lead 2X during "Mr. Brightside".
Flowers recorded a lot of his lead vocals with a handheld Shure SM58, sometimes cupping the mic while he sang. He is comfortable with a 58 as he uses it onstage, and he chose its familiarity over the sonics of a high-end studio vocal mic. In this shot from Battle Born, Flowers is singing into his SM58, Price is on bass,? Lanois on guitar, and Darren Beckett on drums.
Used as part of the Imploding the Mirage lockdown promo shows.

In this live clip (going full nerd here) at 1:29, you can see the back of his Nord Lead.
The Nord Lead 2 has "Virtual Analog" written underneath which is visible, the 2X does not have the additional writing. It's the easiest way to tell them apart from this angle.
Brandon Flowers has been using the Line 6 M9 Stompbox Modeler with his synthesizers since 2022. It is primarily utilized with his Nord synth, replacing two Boss delay pedals for stereo delay effects. A user-uploaded photo provides a clear view of the M9 in his setup.
From the July 2005 issue of Future Music:
Live Rig: Clavia Nord Lead II, MicroKorg, Ultimate Support Apex stand heavily encrusted in rhinestones. "I got that idea from Liberace," Flowers admits. "But I first put the rhinestones on there to impress David Bowie at a show of ours that he came to in New York."
In this publicity photo for "Stories and Songs" in 2023, Brandon is seen wearing a Taylor Mini GS without pickguard.
