Damien Rice's Gear
In this video, starting at :16s you can see Damien playing the Lowden S10. This is Damien Rice's main acoustic guitar which he plays 90% of his gigs with, hence why it is so wrecked up.
Damien's preferred unplugged guitar. This guitar is used alternatively to his Lowden for more intimate songs in which he plays it mic'd up rather as it doesn't have any onboard eletronics. He also uses this guitar to play his spontaneous aftershows on the street following the proper venue show.
Used for his appearance on Jools Holland as well as many radio interviews, Damien uses this guitar unplugged (it doesn't have a pick up). Might be confused with the modern 00-18v.
During an aftershow performance in Naples on May 19, Damien Rice is seen playing a Martin X Series LX1E Little Martin Acoustic-Electric Guitar.
In this photo, one can see Rice playing a Takamine NP15.
Used as one of his distortions, Damien keeps 2 of these. They are right next to his Line 6 delay. Photo credit Patrick Ford. The photo is captioned, "Photo of Damien RICE; performing live onstage with guitar effects pedals"
The pedal is 2nd from the right. Damien uses this for delays and occasionally as a loop station. Photo credit Patrick Ford. The photo is captioned, "Photo of Damien RICE; performing live onstage with guitar effects pedals"
The microphone can be seen in various close ups such as 0:27. A pop filter is used.
The amp is seen the entire show but is first seen at 0:16.
Used for a string of unplugged concerts in 2017, this mic is used to pick up his guitar. This is seen in various clips uploaded on YouTube from his show in Napoli.
Here's a picture of his pedalboard
In this live performance of "Me My Yoke & I", starting at :27s you can see that Damien is playing this Fender Telecaster.
In the photo from Othervoicesnyc, Damien Rice is using a Shubb Capo on his guitar's fretboard.
Damien Rice has been using the Electro-Voice RE-15 microphones for his live performances since around 2017. This is evidenced by a photo showing three of these discontinued mics, as reported by NME.
