After playing with his Fender Telecaster 53 reissue, lately he picked up a black Fender Elite American Telecaster, which is a new series by Fender.

This has been his main guitar since the beginning. He now plays a Fender American Elite Telecaster. However, he still plays with his 53' reissue Telecaster sometimes.

He has in his instagram a lot of photos of this guitar. Also, in this video for Thomann Music he says at 1:53 that "This is probably the most unique guitar I have". He says he had it made by his next-door neighboor, who had never built a guitar before. Dom had told him what he would like, and he built it "pretty much from scratch". The body and the neck are from Fender, while the three active pickups are Fishman. It also has a Bigsby.
