Cannata uses the Performer E Acoustic/Electric throughout the In the Open Session for Your Side. It is clearly seen at 0:15, but is noticeable in many shots of the video.
You can check him using one of these and speaking about it in this interview video at 07:19. Note: do not confuse with Tilley equipment, which uses the PBT6 version of the same gear.
Both of Young The Giant guitar players talk about this gear on this interview with Reverb.
He plays it in this video and in several other "In the Open" videos such as Eros and It's About Time.

Selling my Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander. The pedal works perfectly, and sounds great. There are some markings on the pedal, but overall it is in good cosmetic condition. There is velcro on the bottom as well.

This Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster provides Cannata with all the classic sparkle and spank he needs. It comes out during "Repeat" off their latest album, Home of the Strange. Its tuned to open-D and is capo'd on the 4th fret.
As the band plays bigger and bigger venues, Eric has had to get bigger and bigger Fender combos. He's currently rocking a '59 Bassman with a quartet of 10" Jensen P10R Speakers.
All his guitars are currently strung up with these strings (as of 2017)
His board is powered by two of these units

From YTG: The Inward Connections Magnum VU is a really great 500 series pre-amp. It has a nice warmth to it but also great clarity in the top end. It is in excellent condition, and was used this in my smoke-free home studio!
Sold on Reverb.com.
From YTG: There is a glitch that doesn’t effect the sound at all, but sometimes the screen gets stuck on one of the knobs parameters. You need to hit the preset button to go back to the main screen, to change the presets. This may be an easy fix. Beside that it sounds great, and it is a very clean, rich sounding synth!
A red 1980s MIJ model was sold on Reverb.com.
From YTG: Bought this at Main Drag Music shop on Brooklyn NY, a few years back. The neck has bowed a bit, but it is still playable. I took off the lower octave, so right now it is set up similar to Nashville tuning, but just the higher octave strings. Cool guitar!
A 1920s model was sold on Reverb.com.
From YTG: All original parts. Rosewood bars. 2.5 Octave (c-f). Legs fold into frame for easy transportation. Original cardboard resonators (a couple of them are missing. Easy to make/replace).
Sold on Reverb.com.
From YTG: Sweet phase pedal from the 70’s, in perfect working order. Also, converted power to a 9V jack. If you're looking for a cool 70's sounding phaser, thats simple to use, this is your guy!
