Fran Healy

In this performance by Travis live at London's Alexandra Palace (recorded on December 20, 2003), Fran Healy can be seen playing a Fender American Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar, with a sunburst finish, white pickguard, and a maple neck. The guitar can be seen fairly well at 2:29 in the video, and a closeup of the body at 2:54. The top of the body is well worn, though it is unclear whether this is a vintage Telecaster or not.

In the Crypt Sessions video, Fran Healy is seen using a Guild D40 6-string acoustic guitar during a live performance with Travis.

One of Fran’s earliest Guild experiences was with a Jumbo 12-String, which he first used properly on the recording of “Sing” from the album “The Invisible Band” which he claims “Its the best sounding 12 string…..ever”

In this February 2012 performance of the song "My Eyes", Fran Healy can be seen playing a Gibson J-185 New Vintage acoustic guitar.

In Travis's iconic Live 8 performance in 2005, Fran is seen with a Taylor 510-C (Probably 1999) when they played "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?"

Fran Healy, lead singer of Travis, is featured using the Guild D-55E Acoustic guitar in an article on Guildguitars, authored by Myrna Cazessus.

In Travis's presentation at Alexandra Palace in 2003 at minute 27:15 when they play the song "The Fear" he can be seen with a Fender Mustang in Sunburst color, later in the video you can see how the staff changes his guitar to a Fender Telecaster.

In his performance with Travis on "Later With Jools Holland" in 2003, Fran is seen playing the song "Re-Offender" on a Taylor 555 12-string guitar.

Fran uses a Baby Taylor guitar in an acoustic session she did in 2016 for Sopitas.com

In a 2009 acoustic session featured on YouTube, Fran Healy is seen playing "Driftwood" with what appears to be a Martin D-28. Although Healy is known for his preference for Taylor and Guild guitars, this performance highlights his use of the Martin D-28.

In the music video for "The Beautiful Occupation" Fran is seen with a white Fender Mustang.
