Glenn Frey's Gear
It is not sure whether this is a 1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior, or not. In this Gibson article, here is what they say about his 1950's Gibson Les Paul Junior. "But the guitar that most of us associate with Frey is his ‘50s Les Paul Junior nicknamed “Old Black.” The book, The Eagles FAQ: All That's Left to Know About Classic Rock's Superstars states that the guitar was a gift to Frey from longtime friend Jackson Browne. “Old Black” has been retrofitted with a P-90 in the neck position. During recent years, Frey has also been known to play a Sunburst Les Paul on stage."

The video shows the Eagles playing their hit "Take it Easy". Glenn Frey is rocking this ES-330TD in a vintage sunburst finish. The guitar has been seen with bigsby style bridges, but in this case it's a trapeze. The dog ear style P90 pickups tell that it's a 330. It's a TD, rather than a T, because it has two pickups. The one pickup configuration of the ES-330T has the pickup placed halfway between the bridge and the neck.
Glenn Frey was given a Rickenbacker 230 GF, a signature model electric guitar. This model is also frequently used by Joe Walsh, notably during the Eagles' "Hell Freezes Over" tour. A photo on Rickresource provides visual evidence of Frey's association with this guitar.
