Jacob Tilley
Jacob Tilley's Gear
At 1:22, you can see Jacob using a Gibson CS-336. Jacob has said that he used to use this frequently but has not used it recently (November of 2015) due to a broken case (Reverb.com)
Jacob has described his Fender Jaguar as a "good workhorse" guitar in an interview with Reverb.com. He doesn't change guitars very frequently for the sake of having the same tone.
The model that he owns is the 50th anniversary version by Fender Guitars.
Tilley: "We also borrowed a ’65 Fender Jazzmaster from our good friend, Jason Soto, and it became both my and Eric’s go-to guitar for the record. It has plenty of character—especially when plugging it into surf-y, dreamlike reverbs—and it can cut through any mix for guitar solos."
In this Image, Tilley can be clearly seen playing a Silvertone 1457. The guitar's pick guard is what makes the 1457 iconic.
Here, a shirtless Tilley is using a Fender Telecaster.
A JX-2 can be seen on the top left of Tilleys pedalboard.

Tilley: "Justin introduced us to the Roland JC-120. Growing up, I was told tube amps are the be all and end all, so I may have written off this amp without Justin’s guidance. The JC-120 is responsible for many of the classic ’80s chorus tones heard on the Smiths and Police albums, and it pairs nicely with digital effects. I found that going with a good solid-state amp is a great way to diversify your sonic pallet"
Both of Young The Giant guitar players talk about this gear on this interview with Reverb.

His only backup guitar to his Lincoln Guitar's Bitterbird is this Fender Jaguar in Burgundy Mist Metallic finish

From YTG: Great 60's guitar.
Sold on Reverb.com. This one in particular is labeled "Jake".
From YTG: We used these preamps in our LA home studio while we were writing and making demos for our second record, Mind over Matter. We had both Jake and Eric’s guitars, Sameer’s Vox, and bass DI going through these preamps. These preamps are modeled after the API 312A style microphone preamps.

new mini amps for this mini tour @badcatamps
In this December 19, 2013 Facebook post, Bad Cat Amplifiers stated that Young the Giant uses custom, tour-friendly versions of the Cub III R.
They have Cub III R's . We built them in small cabinets to be easier to move around.
These amps are without wattage labels, but this August 11, 2012 The Gear Page forum post by a Bad Cat Amplifiers representative reveals that Tilley uses the 30W version of the Cub III R.
That would basically be a 30 watt cub. We do them all of the time for players. Jacob Tilley from Young The Giant is playing one now. He tells me all of the time that his amp search is over.
Shure endorsed Young the Giant's Jacob Tilley uses Shure's SM57, according to Shure's artist page.
Jacob here is clearly seen using a Rickenbacker 330, for its pickups and fret style.
In this Flickr image, Tilley uses a Vox Hand Wired AC30 amplifier.

Tilley uses an Empress Tremolo unit in his pedalboard rig as seen in this live photo.
Tilley uses a Mod Factor in his live rig (this has likely been replaced by the H9 seen elsewhere).
In a photo taken by Rodolfo Sassano during Young the Giant's performance at Tunnel Club in Milan on May 3, 2012, Jacob Tilley's rig includes an Eventide PitchFactor Harmonizer. This pedal appears to have been replaced by the H9 in later setups.
You can check him using one of these and speaking about it in this interview video at 07:42. Note: do not confuse with Cannata equipment, which uses the PBT9 version of the same gear.
