Jacques Greene's Gear
"So in taking the Jacques Greene project live you’ve expanded the music out over hardware equipment, with two people performing it. Can you run us through the equipment you are using? We’re running an AKAI MPC as the main clock for our drum machines and sequencers, as well as a sampler/MIDI sequencer. We have this modern analog clone of the Roland TR-808 called the Acidlab Miami as well as a TR-909 running the bulk of the drums during the show. Andrew plays a lot of the main chords and melodies on his Akai Miniak, and we also have a Dave Smith Tetra, two racks of analog modular synthesizer and a Roland TB-303. The entire rig runs through a board and a bunch of effect pedals. Yes it’s as complicated and as occasionally frustrating as it sounds."
It’s mostly analog and stuff, but I don’t try to be an audio elitist or anything. I’ve sampled Youtube in the past (the contemporary cultural equivalence of sampling worn out vinyl?) and record all my synths and drum machines through a mediocre sound card most of the time. I got some old Roland stuff, a Korg MS-20, some newer analog, and this eurorack modular I acquired the parts for over a year ago.

In the Jacques Greene's "1 4 ME" video for Resident Advisor, he uses Midas Venice F-32 (minute 2:05).
"Imaginative, creatively adventurous and just plain ridiculously talented, Montreal’s Jacques Greene deals in heartbreakingly, great R&B-infused house anthems like ‘After Life, After Party’, masterful albums on labels like LuckyMe and Nightslugs and memorable performances at dance music hotspots like Fabric and Panorama Bar." - AIAIAI
