Versatile and cheap, this is an "always on" pedal
Imagine your favourite amp. What is it? A JCM800, a Bassman, a Mesa, it could be anything. Now imagine giving your favourite amp a new channel. It would sound smoother, lend more presence, even give a bit of a clean boost, but it would still sound very natural and mild. This is very hard to achieve, because you either get an underpowered od (tube screamers and their clones) with mids through the roof, or a sterile abnormal sound that takes away from your amp's natural characteristics. The Arrows doesn't claim to be either, and it does it's job spectacularly. Whether adding a nice sparkly dirt to a clean sound, or an extra kick for solos, the Earthquaker doesn't really have any cons. It also sounds amazing after fuzzes, but that's a whole new story.
Overall: Get this if you want to keep your amp's sound, but with more juice. You might want to skip if you play heavier distorted sounds, as it won't be as noticeable.

The translated text of this tweet is as follows: "Today, the BD-2 is a Waza! The [Earthquaker] Arrows and the Centaur are already my go-tos. The [Earthquaker] Plumes is cranked! I'm not good at stepping on switches, so I use Providence loop routing boxes. Since I want to step on the CE-2 and the RE-3 at the same time, I use the loop routing boxes. The RE-6 is for those extra long delays!"
In addition to the two Providence P-4TB routing boxes, this photos shows a BOSS Waza Craft BD-2, BOSS RV-3, RV-6 and CE-2, two Earthquaker pedals (Plumes overdrive, Arrows boost), and a vintage Klon Centaur.

On the Earthquaker Devices page the following quote is utilised in his rig rundown.
'Speaker Cranker is a desert island pedal for me ... it's essential for every board I use. I run it before a fuzz for some extra dirt and clarity during solos. It adds distortion but still cuts through a mix like nothing I've heard before. The Bit Commander, Dispatch Master and Arrows also make it onto my pedalboard depending on the set. In the studio I've also used the Rainbow Machine and Hoof Reaper.'
According to the Premier Guitar's rig rundown, Campbell uses the Earthquaker Arrows pedal.
In an episode of "Board to Death" on the EarthQuaker Devices YouTube channel, guitarist Carmen Vandenberg is shown using the EarthQuaker Devices Arrows V2 pedal as an "always on" device.
