Description

Immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of the Taylor 514ce Acoustic-Electric Guitar. This remarkable instrument, a favorite among fingerstylists and singer-songwriters alike, boasts a Western Red cedar top, adding an extra dose of warmth and responsiveness to your performances.

Featuring a Grand Auditorium size, it perfectly melds the width and depth of a Dreadnought with a narrower waist, resulting in a treble zing that covers the entire tonal spectrum, sharpening individual notes. Its sleek design makes it an ideal choice for both finger-picking and medium strumming.

The Taylor 514ce is not only about the acoustic sound. The Expression System, developed in collaboration with the audio pioneer Mr. Rupert Neve, is designed to reproduce your guitar's native tone faithfully. Utilizing patented dynamic sensors, it captures top and string vibration like never before. The onboard tone controls offer added flavor or can be set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.

Its lustrous gloss top, back, and sides are created using a finish developed at Taylor for maximum durability. This ultra-violet cured finish resists cold-checking and is more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Best Acoustic for an Electric Player

Of all the acoustics I've played, this one has been the most intuitive. It felt right from the start, and I'm inspired every time I pick it up. I won't be in the market for another acoustic in the foreseeable future.
