At 28:57 in the YouTube video "Royal Blood Live at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 2017," Mike Kerr uses a Radial Engineering JDX Reactor Guitar Amp and Cabinet Direct Box. It is visible connected between the speaker output and internal speaker input of his Fender Super-Sonic amplifier, likely routing to the PA system for a mixed sound with the cabinet mic feed.

He uses this in Hole in Your Heart.

In the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance of "Roxanne" by Royal Blood, Mike Kerr uses a Sennheiser MD 421-II microphone. At 0:38, it is visibly positioned alongside an AT4060, likely to capture additional mids and highs from the speaker.

In this YouTube video, consisting of Instagram reels taken from the recording period of the album Typhoons, between 5:22 - 5:31, an Epiphone Studio 10s can be seen in the background behind Mike Kerr. In an interview with Total Guitar in July 2021, Mike Kerr describes using using a cheap amp to record tracks from Typhoons in November.

"I actually bought an amp off eBay for £30 but I’m not going to say what it is... I don’t want everyone to go out and buy them, because I might want spares! But there’s loads of them left. And it sounded magical. I did all the guitar stuff using that one amp, and I only had one of them, so any double-tracking was actually re-amped through that, to achieve the second layer."

In this Instagram reel @ 1:03 we can see a distinctive Danelectro ‘56 baritone in the rack of instruments Mike has. This is very likely the baritone guitar used to record Space, a B-side off of Typhoons.

In this Instagram post from May of 2021, you can see a Boss Blues Driver on the floor infront of Mike, right next to the EHX Pitchfork. The white text on the switch indicates it may be the Waza Craft version.

In this Instagram video you can see a Squier VI Bass sat in the guitar rack in the background. This was most likely the bass used to record 'Space' as Mike Kerr described in an interview that the guitar used for the song was a bass that had six strings, and played like a guitar. This version of the Squier VI was also released a year prior to the release of 'Typhoons', which coincides with the time they wrote and recorded the album.

In Royal Bloods video with Fender on 'Troubles Coming' a Radial J48 DI box can be seen sitting under the EHX Cockfight on top of the Fender Supersonic Amp.

Producer Tom Dalgety, who worked on Royal Blood's first and second albums, confirmed that Mike Kerr uses the Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator in his live setup. Dalgety explained that Kerr runs his bass through the AC-3 into an overdriven amp, which gives it a unique crunch.
