Nathan Cochran, bassist/backing vocals/keyboardist of Christian Contemporary band MercyMe, shows off his dance moves while playing a Gibson Non-Reverse Thunderbird. It's not often you see him sporting non-Fender basses.

When being shown his amp setup, we noticed he is using an Avalon U5 DI Preamp, a Monster Power Pro 2500, Ampeg SVT-II (Not the pro version), a Palmer PGA-04 Speaker Simulator, and a Shure UR4S Single Channel Receiver.

"For most of it I did use my Jazz Bass through my Ashdown ABM 900 head and into an Ampeg cab that I had at the time. It is a little unfair to compare your tone to the tones on a record. I had my amp running and a direct signal going at the same time."
