In this video, Ryan Jarman talks about how he uses the Orange AD30 combo:

In this Fender interview with the Cribs, brothers Ryan and Gary Jarman talk about some of the Fender guitars the use and love:

Ryan: “I use a pawnshop Mustang, exactly like this actually, Lake Placid Blue, I have the Pawn Shop Mustang and the Venus are the two guitars that I use mainly. When The Cribs first started I use to use vintage Mustangs, 70s ones. Because of the amount of touring we do…”

Gary: “We’re pretty hard on our guitars, so we’ve stopped taking vintage stuff out. So it was really cool, Ryan got the Pawn Shop Mustang, it became like a workhorse guitar…”

Ryan: “If there’s one thing I can say about this guitar is that it’s super reliable, really hard wiring.”

In this photo, Ryan Jarman can be seen playing live with his Gibson ES-335 electric guitar. In an interview with Gibson, when asked if he used any Gibsons on The Cribs' album Ignore The Ignorant, Ryan answers:

"Yeah I used my ES-335s a lot on the new record. The reason why I started playing them in the first place was Alex [Kapranos] from Franz Ferdinand had one and I used it in the studio and just loved the sound of it. I know it may look a bit weird in our band because it’s not the kind of guitar you’d expect us to play, but the thing that I really like about the semi-acoustic is that, since I like to have a lot of gain on my amp, the guitar is always on the verge of feeding back. I think it adds a lot of tension to the sound, which is something that I love."

In this video of Ryan Jarman of The Cribs talking about Orange Amps, he says his first Orange amp was a Crush 30 combo. Around the 1:00 minute mark in the video he says:

"The first time I actually got an Orange was probably in 2001, and it's when the Orange Crush came out. I got an Orange Crush for my birthday ... I was really excited that it was an Orange amp however I could actually afford. It was a way of getting an Orange but on a modest budget. I still really love that amp. I think it was the Crush 30. It became our main recording amp. All our early demos we recorded with the Crush. And even now whenever we go to the studio we always take the Orange Crush with us and split the signal between my Orange rig and the Crush, just because I still think it sounds really good on records. I still really love that amp actually."
