Audix is on the road with Swedish rockers The Sounds! FOH Paul O’Shaughnessy gave us an update on lead singer Maja Ivarsson's experience with her OM7: "Maja has used the Audix OM7 for several years. When the band all switched to IEM’s they found that they were getting a lot of cymbal spill if Maja was singing from the drum riser, as she likes to do. She also likes to walk in front of the PA and get out front with the audience. We needed a mic with a tight pickup pattern and a great sound. We tried out a few mics but the OM7 was always going to be the one. I like it, the band like their IEM mix, and Maja loves it. We now use OM7s on all four main vocals and the spare. We wouldn’t be without them on tour!"
