Summary of the Audix OM7
I bought this microphone because I found out Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree uses it for live performances. Also because it has exceptional feedback rejection. I've used it for studio recording purposes with great results. It needs a significant amount of gain from the audio interface's preamp though. The sound is clear and crisp. I love the fact it rejects feedback so well because I never get nasty squeals and noises of any kind when I use it. It is a quality product, very sturdy. Highly recommended.

Sweet mic for looping and band gigs
The reason why this mic only got four stars is simply that I haven't tried too many different microphones yet and I'm not entirely sure, if I can say this is the best one out there (if you can say that about any mic at all). It's certainly great for doing stuff on the loop station because it doesn't let much noise in form around you and it's also recommendable for live gigs with the full band, for the same reason. It does however sound like a radio mic sometimes, which is not that cool for recordings.

Excellent Feedback Rejection
I have had this mic for around 6 months replacing my EV 967 Mic. It cuts through the mix and is crystal clear. The feedback rejection is the best I have used. You have to have a lot of headroom on your mixer as it has a low gain input. Fantastic mic...
