This guitar was shortly mentioned in his interview with Ultimate Guitar.
I have a Gibson J-45 acoustic that's really nice.
Gifted to Juan Alderete, as stated by the bassist on at least two occasions.

We're gonna use the Swollen Pickle, my Sovtek fuzz that I've had for many, many years that I got form Tyler Bates. He was the guitar player in Pet, he gave me this. I'm giving props, shout out to him.
Premier Guitar, Bass Pedal Wars Round 2 (August 27, 2014)
I have to go with my Sovtek Big Muff fuzz. Tyler Bates, a really great film composer, gave it to me. I went to record with him and he said, “Use this.” I thought it was awesome, so he told me I should keep it. He loved it, but he could see how lit up I was about it. That was in the early ’90s, and I’ve used it a lot since then. It’s the best-sounding fuzz. We do all these fuzz pedal shootouts on my website, pedalsandeffects.com, and it’s still the number one fuzz pedal. I have several other Sovteks, but that is the one.
He says he uses this guitar live sometimes because it handles the intense volume. This guitar is also briefly mentioned in his Ultimate Guitar interview.
Then I play the [Dan] Donegan model too - they made a bunch of those for me.

In his interview with Guitar Player, Bates states that he has Jerry Cantrell signature amplifier. The amplifier is also mentioned on his interview on Premier Guitar.
I also have a Friedman Jerry Cantrell model head and cabinet that I really love.
Jerry Cantrell is a good friend of mine and he suggested that I play one of his amps, so I have a nice Friedman Cantrell head going through a 2x12 cabinet and it sounds great.
He says he has this amp; and further praises it, saying it 'sounds and records great'
He mentions this amplifier briefly in his Premier Guitar interview.
I use amps almost always. This may sound funny, but the main amp I typically use is a Peavey Classic 50 4x10. I used to use that in conjunction with my Marshall when I was in Pet, because the Peavey would give me a cleaner articulation. I would run the two of them together. When I focused my work solely on being in the studio, I just used the Peavey and I found it to be extremely versatile.
This amplifier was discussed in his Ultimate Guitar interview.
Strangely enough, this might throw some of the gear nerds for a loop. For the longest time I used a Peavey Classic 50 combo amp with 4x10s - it makes the GuitarViol sounds so good through that - I run it clean but it sounds distorted because of the way I play with the bow and rosin but it records really well and I've done almost everything on the last two Manson records on that amp.
Tyler Bates uses the DigiTech Whammy Pitch-Shifting Pedal as part of his live setup with Marilyn Manson, as shown in a post on his official Instagram account.
