I was lookin' artist submissions around and found this page:
https://equipboard.com/pros/why-don-t-we
The page isn't set up right as it's a band profile on an artist page, it only has four pieces of gear on it and I went and looked it up and couldn't find any results for it.
This page might need deleted but I don't know.

The Shred-Guitar King Has Died
Every year on either the Birthdate or Deathdate of my favorite musicians I'll always try to learn a song by them as a kind of tribute as well. Back on Sep. 27th I was trying to learn "Orion" by Metallica on Bass so I know how that feels.

The Shred-Guitar King Has Died
Well, Eddie thought the Picks gave him Cancer and the Doctors said it was possible, but I never thought of Brass Players... Huh.

The Shred-Guitar King Has Died
I actually learned an important life-lesson from this man: Never hold Metal Guitar Picks in your mouth.
When Eddie was Tapping he would sometimes hold the Pick in his mouth, these Picks were made of Brass & Copper and ended up giving him Tounge Cancer (Not Throat Cancer which he died of later).
I'm so glad I learned from his mistakes so that I didn't suffer the same fate.
And I hope this helps some of you aswell.

The Shred-Guitar King Has Died
I saw today where Eddie Van Halen has died of Throat Cancer at the age of 65.
I don't even know how to make this post, I guess the best thing we can do is not mourn his death, but celebrate his life.
Let's just sit back, crack open a cold one and listen to Eddie's music, LOUD!!! It's what Eddie would have wanted.

Help upgrading my Fender Stratocaster Player Series
Interisting ideas for a Strat:
Longer Tremolo Arm for "Glide Guitar" (Techniqe where you hold the Trem while strumming and it makes a wavering sound).
You could replace the 5-Way Blade Switch with 2 3-Way Toggle-Switches for different pickup selection settings.
Strap Locks.
You could get rid of the regular Tremolo and put a Floating Tremolo on and do somthing weird with the cavity.
Piezo Pickups (Pickups which pick up the vibration of the Body insted of the Strings).
Buy a Scalloped Neck (Fretboard with wood shelled out between the Frets so that the string only touches the Fret and no wood).
I know not all of these are easy but it's just my thoughts.

I noticed you're reformatting a bit and I think it would be nice if you could have the "Recent Activity" page setup more like the old one but looking like the new one, let me explain:
The old setup was easier to use in that we're used to it, we saw only the artist's name and the gear spotted with them, we didn't see the source unless we chose to click the "Learn More" button, with the current setup we see everything whether we want to or not and it takes up a lot more screen space, another thing was in the old setup we could scroll down forever whereas now there is a "See More" button I for one would always scroll down forever and look for artists I knew, it's a bit harder and more annoying with the new setup so I'm suggesting 4 things:
Keep the side panel on the right of the screen.
Add a Minimize/Maximize button on the submissions.
Get rid of the "See More" button on the bottem of the screen.
Keep the Artist Gear/Reviews/Gear Photos Banner up top.
Hope you consider my suggestions, Thanks in advance.

Suggestion: Maybe make a page for gear photos too? We already got the "Explore", "Add", "Gear Guides", and "Forum" buttons why not make a "Gear Photos" or "Gear Pics" button too?

What Kind Of Amp Heads Are These?
I was lookin' at some of Blue Öyster Cult's gear (I'm not a very big Cult fan but I looked anyway.) and I found this photo of Joe Bouchard.

Those Amp Heads behind Joe are HUGE, does anybody have any idea as to what these might be??

Not to make your decision harder, but I did find this:

I think this is where some submitted theirself as an artist, I looked up "Tobias Gillet" and didn't get any results and on top of that all the subissions are Completly Incorrect as they lack any links, texts or photographic evidence.

My apologies, I was not trying to make a mockery of you, looking back the comment did seem a little sarcastic though I wasn't try to be.
Also yeah, the Inline-6 and Plastic Nut thing wasn't really that helpful I agree, I don't know why I put that out there.

I don't think it's been modified to fit a Humbucker 'cause there aren't any other holes in the pickguard and I don't think anyone would make a one-single-coil-in-the-bridge guitar.
I also doubt Kurt would have replaced the pickguard as he never really cared how his guitars looked and with this being such a cheap looking guitar he probably smashed it that night.
However if he took it into a place the guy working there could have replaced the pickguard and modified the controls himself.

Also looks like Straight-6 Tuners, Plastic Nut, single Volume/Tone knob and a Tremolo Bridge.

The shards were probably what kept his voice nice and rough 'n' growly.

I was lookin' at some Nirvana photos when I found these
I couldn't find a Guitar that really matched on Kurt's page (correct me if I'm wrong), does anybody know what Guitar this is?

I heard this story that Keith Richards' father was cremated, and while dealing with the ashes he spilled some on the table, looking like cocaine Keith just couldn't resist and... Snort Snort
And back on the Lemmy subject, I heard Lemmy actually drank an entire bottle of Jack Daniel's a day.
6yalmost 6 years ago
Vodka might be in there too as I can quote Lemmy saying:
"Ahh, that's good Orange Juice... Almost perfect... 'cept for the Orange flavor..."
6yalmost 6 years ago
You know, it is pretty shameful that they would add Vodka to Till Lindemann, but not add Jack Daniel's to Lemmy's page...

Listen, do me a favor, if you ever see Slash's Hat listed don't delete it.

I have to laugh while saying this, BUT IS THIS LEGAL?

While I do Really like this I just felt it needed addressed.

Information On DiMarzio Pickups
So I have this very rare Guild Nightbird and I've taken it apart a little and saw that it had DiMarzio Humbuckers with the serial number "LH150" on the bottom.
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these Pickups, any info on these Pickups would be great and I'd be grateful to know.
Edit: Just looked again tonight, the Pickups are NOT LH1000s they are LH150s.
I am greatly sorry for any trouble this caused anyone.

Looks like it was in their other band Spastik Children because Kirk is playing Bass, anyone know if Guns 'N' Roses did gigs with Spastik Children?
6yalmost 6 years ago
I was more looking to fix them as I found them, I don't have my eye on anything, but I'd just like to have the ablity to edit if I found something.
6yalmost 6 years ago
I guess I must need more gearIQ because I've looked and I don't see an option.
Thank you/Sorry for wasting your time.
6yalmost 6 years ago
Okay, sorry.
But where is the option to change the image? I've gone into edit, but I don't see a button, link or option to change an item's image while editing.
6yalmost 6 years ago
Okay, no need to get pissed off, but you go into edit details I see no option to edit/replace the image.
Also the Aria SB-1000 was only an example.
6yalmost 6 years ago
Yes, but where do I go to on the website to change the image?
I've never seen it as an option.
6yalmost 6 years ago
I frequently notice that some of the photos for items on Equipboard don't exactly look the best.
Example:
The Alembic Spoiler looks good.
The Aria Pro II SB-1000 looks bad.
Basically one's got the white background and the other looks like it was taken outside someone's house.
I was wondering is there any way I can Improve and/or Replace the images?

Quick vote (5 secs), do you prefer to submit gear to artists from desktop or mobile?
Desktop, I don't have a phone or anything like that.

Advice for beginner on first electric guitar
Secondly:
Have you ever considered Bass? You may think Bass is a boring Instrument but it's actually really cool.
Here's a Video of my idol Cliff Burton of Metallica preforming his signature Bass Solo "Anisthesia (Pulling Teeth)":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kdUJ5NAnTc
Here's a link to and some Basses on Sweetwater:
I also personally own #4, but I got it 2nd hand at a Pawn Shop -Another good place to find gear- and it was in good shape, It plays good and sounds good too.
Hope all this helps!
