Is that real or is it a joke? I'm leaningmore towards it being real, but I hope it's a joke!

My mind works in £, so I'm not 100 percent sure of everything, but that wipes out vox (Well, any vox that's decent + gigworthy).
Don't be tempted by the satan that is digital amp modelling, because unless it's very expensive chances, are it's going to be horrible sounding.
I would be tempted by a Fender Blues/Pro junior, as they can get decent volume, sound sound pretty good, and count as one of your five tubes a day.
They don't (as far as I'm aware) have footswitchable channels (Or channelS at all), so you'd need a floorboard for gain, but there should be a built in reverb

Yeah, I'm loving the cock fight, but I don't think the price has been announced, or sales started in the UK/Europe. I wouldn't say fuzz factory (It's not glitchy, and mad enough), it's more of a modded muff I'd say, but nonetheless it's pretty nice.

Where would you use a ring mod?
Found the whole thing on youtube, and it's very good, very unique Would you describe that as jazz-fusion?

Suggestion: I know it's not cheap, or easy, but an equipboard app would be great. Nothing to complicated, but a simple to for accessing for forums, uploading, viewing articles without having to go through the hassle of logging on to a desktop.

I was watching this PGS demo for the PS-6 (Can't get enough of Andy's playing)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZYt8PJDCZs, and I'm really digging that intro harmony sound, so...
a, Is it possible for me to get that sound with my humble pitchfork
b, What is that song he's playing (Andy uses a wide variety of amazing songs, however some are quite unknown)
c, I know it's unrelated, but what's all the hype about Joe Bonamassa about?

The song is called 12:51

If it does require some pricy kit, is there any cheapish way to simulate a synth (And I mean moogs, and classic synths, not superego ambient crap), because I really like that synth sound, yet all the gear is very out of reach.

Sorry I haven't got a vid for this one, because I'm posting this on a school computer, but how does The Strokes' guitarist (I'm thinking something Valensi?) get that weird synth tone on "12:51". Does he physically have a EHX Micro Synth or another synth simulator pedal, or is it a mix of other stuff?

The Vox, or the rangemaster?
I think my faves are the boiling point, and the keeley oxblood. The boiling point is very versatile, but still sounds unique, and the oxblood has two very helpful switches (I believe phat/fat, and clipping) which do quite nice things. Do you know of a pedal that can get middy, overdriven eighties Clapton tones? Also nice new profile pic! Stuff Trump, you Americans should vote in an AC30HW (It is more competent, and probably makes better decisions).
Sidenote: Sorry if you're not allowed to post political content on here, moderators.

Legality aside, how easy would it be to build a pedal that could download any toneprint out there. Is it possible to hack flashback style pedals so that they could accept any toneprint.

Where would you use a ring mod?
I was listening to a few demos last night, of a couple of ring mods, which sounded incredible (Thanks to the brilliant Dennis Kayzer), however I wondered where you would use a ring mod?

You don't need MIDI footswitching, if you have a gigrig g3, and world class tap dancing skills. (Fair enough I have neither, but if my band ever ends up majorly touring, then I might pay attention slightly more during the obligatory dance modules)

A round of applause for Dwarfcraft
The other day I watched the knobs demo (They're amazing) of the dwarfcraft minivan. I was shocked out of my skin.
It didn't sound like an incompetent eleven year old, had welded his Nintendo, to a half blown-up octaver, then into some horrible Chinese made fuzz, through around fifteen treble boosters, a sequencer, and an unexploded bomb, then ran his out of tune gear 4 music violin through it into an amp, attacked by bears, decimated by whales, and had its disability benefits axed by David Cameron, which has then been recorded over a nokia brick phone, through to a wet cellar in Poland, where the signal was mixed 75:25, with a recording of somebody abusing some Velcro, with a blowtorch, and a shotgun, and finally played back through a line 6 amp in prime condition. (All of my home recordings).
But seriously how do they sell those pedals?

Also ther's no such thing as "TOO MANY PEDALS", unless it's Boss metal paraphernalia. They should be recalled, and melted down in a vat of Battery Acid, and George Osborne's faeces (The most poisonous, toxic, working class-hating element ever!).

Octave pedals- micro pog or pitch fork
The little POG has a clearer octave down sound, but the pitchfork has more range, and is ten times more versatile.

I recently ordered a flashback delay, yet the built in delay has a function where it goes backwards then forwards, and so on...
I'm not a massive fan of that so is there any decent toneprints I could load instead?
10yover 10 years ago
Nice. Adds up to around £6,135 GBP. How are you financing it? Also why do you need THREE delays, TWO fuzzes, TWO reverbs, and TWO overdrives? And finally what are the Hendrix pedals: Vibe and Fuzz?

Anyone want to sell me a flashback triple delay?
I'm willing to pay up to £150-65 for a second hand Flashback Triple Delay. Had one ready to buy on Ebay, they told me I was signed in. Last 5 secs pressed submit. Oh wait you're not signed, please sign in!

RING MOD sound from deluxe memory boy
I'm pitting the deluxe memory boy, against stereo memory man w/ hazarai, and I know the latter can do LOFI sounding RING MOD delays, but can the deluxe memory boy?

I'd go for the telecaster. It might just be me, but I hate SG (And basically most Gibson) necks. For me It's Gibson or nothing in terms of Les Pauls. Fender is definitely the way forward: If I had £5-900 pounds to spend on a guitar I'd be getting a fender.

Questions About Octave Shifting
I'm a massive octave man, so as you can imagine I've looked into this a lot. DON'T GO FOR CHEAP OCTAVERS! Save up and get a POG, cause the clones are always no match.

Need some new gear suggestions... Budget $1000AUD (~$750USD, £500)
Hey, don't mean to be a killjoy, but if you're looking to get into/back into playing guitar a fancy amp, and pedals won't help you. You can have all the amazing tone in the world, but you need to be able to use it.

Not to point out the obvious, but the B9 and C9 probably have one between them

Are Distortion Pedals Necessary?
In my opinion it depends how quickly you want to turn on or off your distortion. If you wanted distortion for a whole song by all means, but for just a few bars or one section at a time bending over could be quite annoying. Also it depends on your amp. If you want t o play cannibal corpse with the overdrive on a fender you might as well spend your time playing bass. However if you have a mesa boogie or an engl or some other evil, satanic metal head go forth into the world of amp distortion.

Hey Guys, I realised the other day that my "AMAZING" line 6 spider, might need replacing, now that I am getting more of a decent guitarist (Is there even an amp better?), however I am struggling to find a decent quality amp, with good tone within 0-125 pounds. Any ideas?

Cheap Pitch Shifting? (Pitch Box vs. Pure Octave (Mooer))
PITCH BOX VS PURE OCTAVE and if neither then a cheap alternative for two up, two down pitch shifting style stuff (simulating a bass, half of an octave fuzz pedal duo, Jack White-esque and general ambient octave foolishness).

Is it worth spending an extra 15 quid to get a bmtw as opposed to a regular big muff pi?

Overpriced and useless or innovative and scintillating
I was just browsing the web for pedals and demos as most gear people do when something struck me:
Why are people interested in spending 300 pounds on something like a reverb that adds lofi and distortion, with a sequencing interface to change polyphonic pitch gurgles, that by the way you can't control apart from turning it on and selecting which noise you add on? Do people see these as useful, because I am struggling to work out how you could use it apart from just messing around?
