Where do drummers like to hide at night?
Yeah, but like it got to be a problem.SHe couldn't make a couple of rehearsals and she can't take her drum kit home from my basement because her apartment building doesn't allow it. She was good, but she could never really practice.

HOW MANY HOURS A DAY SHOULD YOU PRACTICE IF YOU WANT TO BE PROFESIONAL
I find that once I warm up and open my vocal cords from speaking to singing, I don't generally drink anything until I tear my vocal cords apart, or I wait until after the show. I find that screaming (lightly, not like Corey Taylor shit) opens up my vocal range, until I do it for more than three songs in a row.

So, consensus is, get my drummer back?
She quit because she lives mad far away, and because she can't make recording sessions regularly anymore.
It wasn't because of a disagreement or anything.

I need to find a drummer. My drummer walked out on us mid-recording.

hm. i could put my bass riff at like almost 110, but tbh I don't think of fireballs as slow, sneaky things at all.

YES. I SHALL WIN, BECAUSE I WILL WIN. BECAUSE I AM THE LORD OF BASS. WE SHALL DUEL NOW.

Hi. Mikey from NYC. Hoping to play a bar in the next year. I don't rock in, because I'm a loser, and I prefer distortion.

There are no merits of haggis?¿?
also I'm in class so I can give you guys music but no recording.

instead of sticks, though, they're just snapped-off guitar necks

hang on, i think i'll have a riff in maybe 20 minutes
9yover 9 years ago
that's really good :) and probably better than i could have done.

This... this is gold. I might have time to do some bass for it, but... i don't have a mic, so i'll just supply music.

that... actually sounds like a really fun and productive experience. ill be sure to try it.

Great idea. I had a cool riff in mind, but I only think in terms greater than 160 BPM.

that hurts me to read.
i'm sorry, i can't make art based on someone's illiteracy

spectraflex or kirlin guitar cable?
i use a similar kirlin i like it but it's hard to wind

rosewoods warmer sounding. maple is easier for bends. plus you dont have to oil maple.
maple is only easier for bends because on fender guitars most of them are lacquered. same thing with the oiling. rosewood fretboards (as far as I've seen) usually aren't lacquered.

Solo songwriter, but nothing gets played/recorded without the band hearing it and liking it.
I find a tune for the lyrics and then write the lyrics first (usually after some angering/depressing event), then I do the actual nuts and bolts of putting the notes in my head onto fretboards. The whole thing takes me three hours per song, but i only end up being inspired to write once every two months. Then I run it past the band and they make modifications, either to make it easier or to make it sound better.

a giant thread about OD, Distortion and Fuzz!
which is why I haven't opened my mouth to describe the inner workings of jack shit.
also, have I mentioned that if you use a ds-1 with a bass, it doesnt sound good?
