The Big Muff: Original, Mini, or Nano
... probably an old marshall... maybe a cheap vox? ac15? I like Vox gain a lot, they get real mean, plus I need cleans. But... I have always wanted the gold-plated tank that is a Marshall JCM.

anyone looked at these Dave Friedman pedalboards yet? wow
and maybe you should. i find the presence of a pedalboard soothing and organic

I'd have to try one.
EDIT: found that "harmony" strat!

Never mind, I was thinking of the Burns strat. The Harmony H-15 Bobkat looks like a JM, not a Mustang, and its like $100, not $40. The Yamaha is the most unique guitar I have ever seen, kind of like Prince's guitar. (The yellow one.) There's the Peavey Rockmaster, at $64. And a $200 Dean hardtail Strat style guitar thats cut so deep that none of the fretboard goes into the body

Yeah, shipping is included. There are also a few Partscasters and a Yamaha EGV103C. And a '66 Teisco someone is getting rid of for $60, and a '67 Harmony Strat clone for $42.

I've been browsing Reverb and Guitar Center for used instruments for under $500, and I have found many wonderful things, such as a Silvertone amp-in-case without the amp for $60. The question is, what should I buy? It's sort of going to be a project guitar, and I am getting an Orange amp to go with. That is where all the money is going.

Beer. Bass. Other bass. Mics. Food. 25 Picks. Water bottles. Bandages. That one is important.

wow okay, this documentary is really interesting and something I have not considered for a second. i mean, who needs kids when you could have a guitar? (sarcasm)
9yabout 9 years ago
okay. I'll check it out, because any recommendation from the GEAR GOD JIM is probably right.
to go off-topic, did you ever order that J Mascis Jazzmaster?

henry rollins, jello biafra, and mark hoppus
if they decline, then id go to gerard way, greg ginn, and milo aukerman

okay, thanks.
have you heard the song made entirely out of Trump's tweets?
it's an emo parody written only in Donald's words
9yabout 9 years ago
True, but I feel really bad because I live on being creative, pretty much. It's my outlet, and I ave a lot to say that isnt being said. Im leaving too much to simmer

im having a hard time forcing the artistic douchebag in my head to write coherent music

Everything about Johnny Depp is disgusting, including his family.
That said, so is the term "snot pocket."

What is the oldest guitar you have?

What is the oldest guitar you have?

talmans are interesting becasue they clearly aren't a "shredder" style guitar but they have that neck. i've played a renecked Talman with a U neck and it was great
in terms lf acquisition, oddball Fenders are and always have been my favorites. fender in general makes a unique tone because of their guitars' reliance on single coils.
also small guitar manufacturers make nice, different guitars.
