Dunlop 535Q Cry Baby Multi-Wah
Avg price: $162.71
Does everything from a drowned sound to screeching
Solid wah, it's pretty annoying to mount it to a pedalboard though. I cut a piece of triplex, glued it to the bottom of the wah and put the velcro on that wood to fix that. For me it has a little bit too many options, making me doubt and swap around settings constantly.
Electro-Harmonix Superego Synth Engine
Avg price: $176.35
Avg price: $99.99
Ibanez FC10 Fat Cat Distortion
Avg price: $196.42
Avg price: $279.46
This pedal does it all!
I love it to bits as a lo-fi machine. For that purpose it's the best on the market in my opinion. (except maybe the chase bliss warped vinyl, but it's a completely different type of pedal).
If you're looking for a one stop modulation machine with tons of lo-fi options where you don't have to dig through digital menu's, This is the one in my opinion!
Avg price: $95.00
Best delay within it's price range
It's digital, has warm dark repeats and has modulation. It will do anything from swells to reverse delays to ducking. It's really solidly built and is a pedal everyone that is looking for delays on a budget should consider.
Avg price: $201.25
nice slapback analog delay.
I use this delay mainly when I want a tiny bit of slapback delay to add to the clean sound. The only downside of the pedal is the modulation setting which doesn't go all out into crazy modulation madness, very subtle modulation only.
Avg price: $244.23
EarthQuaker Devices Transmisser
Avg price: $183.55
Loved it, couldn't use it properly though
I bough the transmisser after seeing the knobs video and instantly falling in love with the weird dark vibe it gave off. Sadly I could only get very dark reverbs with little subtlety out of it. I probably gave up too soon, but to me it was a very hard pedal to dial in properly.
Avg price: $215.00
Nice reverb.
I love the spring and hall. The halo is fun for soundscapes but is a bit gimmicky. The reverse reverb is very fun to stack with reverse delays->oscillation for optimal madness.
Avg price: $103.02
good, not great, but good
It does what it's supposed to, sadly there is no undo function where you can remove the last layer you just added. I guess that can't be expected from such a cheap pedal.
