Boldest pick: Joyo JF-14 American Sound
Only 4 pro artists on Equipboard own it, but it's ranked #3 in Guitar Preamp Pedals.

No
No matter the amp, no matter the setting, no matter the guitar, a TS9 is not for me. I'm not fond of TS808s either. The tone is either entirely dark, or bright enough to make ears bleed. The most tolerable tone I've gotten from one of these was with the drive at 8 O'Clock, and Tone at 5 O'Clock. I'd take a Soul Food over this, but for now I'll stick to a Crate CR-1 for a good drive tone. Some people love these, and that's great for them, but not for me. Who wants to trade?

Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano

Easy to Use
Too many knobs and I get distracted, so this was a good purchase for a basic reverb. I leave it on Spring, at about 9-10 O'Clock.
Avg price: $297.50
First and Only Compressor
Needed a compressor, so I got the nicest one I could find. I don't use much compression, but when I do- this gets the job done well. With 4 knobs, it's not as simple as others on the market. Had to do a bit of experimenting before I could find what I liked.

Everything I Needed in a Chorus!
Its simple- one knob and one switch! I picked one of these up after years of considering and it has been one of the best decisions I've made for my rig so far. It's the perfect amount of lush, and flipping the switch and turning the knob all the way up works perfect with the combo of fuzz and reverb. Definitely an excellent pedal, and I should've gotten one much sooner. I tried this out with the knob at noon and my whammy down an octave, and it sounds great especially with some drive on top of that!

Give it a Shot
Not really a Fender modeler, though marketed as one. I love this late in the chain with my drives, and use it mainly as a light OD. With the drive low, this thing has a really good tone. I've also used this straight into a DI in a live setting, and had good results. It's a better drive than a modeler.
Electro-Harmonix Bad Stone Nano
Avg price: $75.84
Versatile
Sold my Phase 90 and got this after seeing in in Reverb's "Potent Pairings: Tame Impala" video. The manual setting pairs nicely with a fuzz pedal. I keep the feedback around 4 O'Clock and love it.
Avg price: $200.50
Incredibly Dynamic
Honestly, this is the most functional delay I've messed with it. I have no need for all of the fancy delays, but this one gets everything done damn well. The repeats come out in a beautiful way, especially with the modulation added on. The trails are dirty enough to sound great but not enough to be annoying. Also love using this with the time set as low as it can go, for an excellent doubled sound. My favorite delay.
TC Electronic The Prophet Digital Delay
Avg price: $45.91
Good for the Price
$60 for a Digital Delay that isn't some brand from Asia that may never be delivered. I dig it, but I know I should probably find something better, with a tap tempo. I leave this on 1/8, repeats down, with the time low enough to sound like a doubled track.

What is that above your Echoplex delay? Great board, thanks for sharing!
Hey Michael! That's a passive volume attenuator I built a while back. Just a little something to use as a master volume in the FX loops, or to bring the input signal down on my hotter-output keyboards before running to the front of the amp as to not overdrive the heck out of them. It's very similar to a JHS Little Black Amp Box.
