Another winner from TC Electronic!
This is exactly what I was looking for in a delay. Good sound, easy interface, and road-ready ruggedness!
Whoever owned this pedal before me, thank you for getting rid of it. Because this was the missing piece I was needing for my tone!

Less is more
Incredible tone for a ridiculous price tag. How did TC do it? Getting such a great crisp and cutting digital delay tone with so wide variations in pots out of such a tiny price? This is a metal pedal casing, not a compromised plastic thing. Also on the inside everything is produced in a very tidy way. No cutting corners. There really is only one disadvantage for me (very personal). In one of my songs I strike a chord and immediately push the delay to make it echo in a sharp, crisp way for 3 to for times, then I strike the next chord etc. at that first chord when I engage it, the pedal is a tiny bit too slow. I’d have to kick it just before the chord, but the risk of messing it up is just too big. So I traded it for a Trem Jr, because I already have 3 other delay pedals (MXR CarbonCopy analog delay, TC Vintage Delay - which is a T.Rex replica rebadged -, and a BOSS DD-3 MIJ).
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Any setting. It sounds so crisp. I couldn’t flaw it for it’s tone or features, regardless of it’s price tag. Just the lag at engagement is a bit too long for me.

good for basic delaying beats
By no means a bad delay pedal, but has limited settings. While I am not a fan of the 1/16, 1/8, 3/8 switch design, you can multiply beats live and change the repetition patterns between those three.

Straight digital delay
A very straightforward digital delay that doesn't really try to go for an analog emulation. The chopping effect when you turn the time knob (as opposed to the traditional "spaceship noises") is the main reason I bought this pedal and it does not disappoint. It is also capable of some gnarly oscillations at higher delay/repeat settings. I do wish the delay time could go a little longer (it maxes out at 1300ms), and that the pedal was a little smaller, but other than that it does what it needs to and works really well in a delay stack due to its clean and clear signal.

Best delay pedal for the money
Pros: 1. Pristine digital delays from the company that made the famous Flashback delay pedal. 2. Costs less than a Boss DD3 but sounds as good as a TC Flashback without its frills. 3. Very simple to use. 4. Top mounted 5. The 3/8, 1/8 and 1/16 settings are extremely useful for macro settings post which one can dial in fine tuned settings using the knobs 6. The shape and size of the knobs are perfect for even dialing in fine sounds with a toe.
Cons: Size. It's rather large.

Good for the Price
$60 for a Digital Delay that isn't some brand from Asia that may never be delivered. I dig it, but I know I should probably find something better, with a tap tempo. I leave this on 1/8, repeats down, with the time low enough to sound like a doubled track.

A really good digital delay
I used it a lot,in fact a few songs were based on some experiments using this pedal, but when i bought the Zoom MS70 CDR i stopped playing with the Tc.

The DD-3 is the daddy of digital delay pedals. The TC sounds better, but the DD-3 is faster.
