Critic Reviews

Alesis Nitro Mesh E-Kit review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit is a standout choice for beginners, offering great value with its compact design and classy aesthetic. It's easy to set up and features 8" all-black mesh pads that are adjustable and quiet. The kit includes 40 kits and 385 samples, providing a wide range of styles. Its brushed-steel pedal boards enhance durability and style. However, the built-in play-along tracks may be considered cheesy, and plastic rims can be noisy. Despite minor limitations, its affordability and functionality make it a solid entry-level electronic drum set.

Alesis Nitro Kit Review - Is This the Right Kit for You?

omniversedrumming.com

The Alesis Nitro Kit is an appealing entry-level electronic drum set with some standout features, such as a dual-zone snare and a kick drum tower, offering a more realistic drumming experience compared to its competitors. The kit's flexibility, portability, and variety of built-in sounds make it suitable for beginners and as a quiet practice alternative for experienced drummers. However, the 8-inch drum pads may feel cramped to those accustomed to larger acoustic kits, and the free-floating hi-hat pedal could frustrate drummers seeking more authenticity. Overall, the Nitro Kit is a strong contender in its price range, though it lacks the bundled extras provided by some rivals.

Wonderful.

Great kit. I love playing this. Has mesh pads, 3 cymbals, 3 toms, 1 snare with a rim, hi-hat control, and choke on the crash. Great beginner's kit. I use this for everything percussion related.
