Casio CTK-6000 review: Introduction

rfwilmut.net

The Casio CTK-6000 offers decent value with its touch-sensitive keys and a variety of features, making it a reasonable choice for those on a budget. However, it faces stiff competition from Yamaha's PSR-e423, which may have the edge in quality but is pricier and bulkier. The review suggests that while the CTK-6000's facilities are comparable to Yamaha's, they are differently arranged, which may affect usability. It's a practical option for those seeking a balance of price, size, and features, but it doesn't stand out significantly in terms of performance or innovation.

Casio CTK-6000 review: Auto-accompaniment

rfwilmut.net

The Casio CTK-6000 offers a range of features that make it a versatile tool for musicians, with 200 rhythms and a user-friendly auto-accompaniment system. While the ease of creating accompaniments with minimal effort is a plus, some intros and closings are criticized for being cheesy. The option to save custom settings in the 'User Rhythms' bank adds flexibility, but the quality of preset tones can vary. Overall, the CTK-6000 is a solid choice for those seeking variety, though it may not satisfy those looking for polished, high-end sounds.

For the guy who performs in gigs

I have a Novation SL at home but I needed one that I can travel around with (the Novation one was too precious to take it out). I didn't want to spend a fortune on it again and this was my choice. And this is an extremely good one for all my needs. I can take it anywhere in my car, the speakers are good enough for me. All in all, I am satisfied and will recommend this to anyone who asks me as a beginner.
