A Portable Powerhouse for Pianists

The Casio CT-S1 61-key keyboard caught our attention with its blend of portability and performance. Right out of the box, we were impressed by its solid build quality and sleek design. The matte-textured keys felt great under our fingers, offering a tactile experience that belies its budget-friendly price point.

The CT-S1's sound quality consistently wowed us, especially when it came to piano, electric piano, and string tones. While the onboard speakers performed admirably, we found the sound truly came alive when using headphones or external speakers. The surround sound feature added an extra dimension to our playing that we really appreciated.

We loved the variety of features packed into this compact unit. Tone layering, octave shifts, and a customizable metronome all contributed to a versatile playing experience. The battery-powered option was a nice touch for on-the-go musicians.

However, it wasn't all perfect. We found ourselves wishing for dedicated buttons for commonly used functions like transpose and reverb. The lack of a 1/4" output was also a bit disappointing, and organ enthusiasts might find the organ sounds lacking compared to other tones.

A Perfect Keyboard To Start Learning And Also To Play Live

Before buying my first keyboard, I did a lot of research on the subject, I could have bought a higher version of the product, but something attracted me to the CT-S1. As soon as it came into my hands I realized that it was the best decision I made, its easy sound change helped me both to practice and to use it live, it has never failed me on stage. It is also worth noting that for the price it has, it is a great quality product. The perfect piano to start playing and to facilitate live performances.

Small in size, big in sound.

I chose it as a portable option for my Privia since carrying it around is always a problem. I really like the Piano and EP presets, and I often do without using plugins during gigs.
