Review: Does the Casio CT-X3000 Have the Best Sounding Piano?

jeremysee.info

The Casio CT-X3000 shines as a remarkable value in the keyboard market, boasting the best piano sound in its price range at just $299. Its firm keys enhance playability, though the glossy finish can lead to some finger slippage during fast passages. With an impressive array of features, including 800 tones and a variety of contemporary rhythms, it offers versatility that rivals more expensive models. However, while the acoustic and electric pianos are standout, not all voices hit the mark. Overall, the CT-X3000 is an underrated gem, perfect for musicians seeking quality without breaking the bank.

Pretty handy keyboard for mid-budget keyboard

Nice presets and easy line-in line-out device, but be careful of distortion with loud volume. Clean sounds with stock speakers, and it's a nice keyboard to play standalone. But it doesn't make a good job on MIDI transmission due to latency and overall below-average velocity sensor. However, as its price is not expensive, the CP value of this keyboard is pretty high.
