A decent keyboard to try circuit bending
Scored at a thrift shop for around $5. In it's original form this keyboard is little more than a toy. The numerous preset voices are fun to explore, but every gesture in the keyboard's interface makes a nasty clicking noise by default - from punching in a new voice to adjusting the volume. This alone writes the instrument off as toy material, not instrument material. Still, I have enjoyed trying my hand at circuit bending on this keyboard, and have accomplished a couple bends including an adjustable overdrive and a randomized glitcher.
