Previously it was thought Blanks was using a Hofner 500/1 bass, however I think that it incorrect because there are inconsistencies between the bass Blanks uses and the 500/1. For starters the bass Blanks uses has a white logo on the headstock (as we can see on the picture provided), pickguard is white perloid, there's some writing on the trussrod cover that matches that of the Hofner Ignition se. The Hofner 500/1 has a cream perloid pickguard, there's nothing written on the trussrod cover, and there's a golden logo on the headstock.
