Innerclock Systems - Sync Gen Pro II · Tech Review ⟋ RA

ra.co

The Innerclock Systems Sync Gen Pro II offers musicians a reliable solution for syncing hardware drum machines with DAWs, providing sample-accurate timing that eliminates jitter commonly seen with MIDI beat clocks. The Cynq-Lock hardware unit and the accompanying Sync-Gen II plugin drastically improve ease-of-use and creative possibilities, allowing for complex time signatures and real-time adjustments. While some vintage machines like the TR-707 may still require minor adjustments due to their own internal clocks, the Sync Gen Pro II ensures consistent performance across demanding sessions. With high ratings for cost, ease of use, and versatility, it's a worthwhile investment for serious producers seeking precise synchronization.
