Description
In any home studio, perfect acoustics are a rarity. That's where the KRK ERGO Room Correction System steps in, blending cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design to transform your acoustic environment. At its core lies the Lyngdorf's RoomPerfect system, a sophisticated solution that measures and corrects room-induced frequency anomalies. By using the included KRK measurement microphone and ErgoCal software, the ERGO system identifies and attenuates problematic low and low-mid frequencies between 20 Hz and 500 Hz, notorious for muddying mixes.
The KRK ERGO isn't just a room correction marvel; it's also a versatile monitor controller. With its sleek metal casing and an intuitive large analog volume knob, it offers seamless control over your listening experience. Switch effortlessly between two sets of monitors or manage a subwoofer in a 2.1 system with the "A" and "B/Sub" buttons. The Global and Focus modes allow for tailored corrections, whether you're mixing for a single sweet spot or an entire room. Plus, with a bypass feature, you can instantly compare your room's natural acoustics to the corrected sound.
For professionals who value uncompromised audio quality, the ERGO's clean analog and digital signal paths are a boon. With S/PDIF inputs supporting up to 96 kHz and FireWire connectivity, your audio remains pristine. Whether you're mixing tracks or simply enjoying your favorite tunes, the KRK ERGO ensures every note is heard as intended.

"KRK Ergo. Cleans up the EQ of my room a bit. I haven't treated it yet so this is a nice option."
In between Seven Lion's studio monitors we spotted the KRK ERGO Room Correction System. The big volume knob on it can be used to control the overall volume of his monitors.
Fehrplay's studio setup includes the KRK ERGO Room Correction System, as seen in a photo shared on his Twitter account.
"I use this thing called the KRK Ergo system which is like an enhanced room geometry optimization unit. A lot of people are like, 'oh, don't touch that'[...] if you wanna be cheap and economical like I used to be[...] I highly recommend it because what it does is it cancels out all the frequencies that you have on your final mix for when you jump in your car and you're like 'why is my song too bassy', this thing really, by one button, it literally cancels out all those frequencies[...] that helped me on my final mixdown big time."
