I use a lot of the Logic synths like ES2, ES M and ES P quite a lot, and they don’t use a lot of CPU.

Fehrplay incorporates the Access Virus TI2 Desktop Synthesizer into his studio setup. In a Reddit AMA, he mentioned, "I mostly use software synths, but I do have a Virus Ti 2 which I plug in and use from time to time."

Fehrplay's studio setup includes the KRK ERGO Room Correction System, as seen in a photo shared on his Twitter account.

Fehrplay wanted bigger speakers, so he upgraded his studio monitors to the Barefoot MicroMain 27s. He says "I just got myself the infamous Barefoots mm27! They are utterly amazing!"

A pair of the discontinued KRK K-RoK studio monitors can be seen in Fehrplay's studio. They appear to be his backup/secondary pair of monitors.

When asked what sample packs he would recommend for drums, Fehrplay says, "...the pack from Daedmau5 'xfer' is pretty good!"

When asked what synth he used for the lead sound in his track "Phantom," Fehrplay replies, "For most of the synths in Phantom I used the Thor modulator synth in Reason 5. Love it!"

Fehrplay speaks highly of his SSL XLogic Compressor: "The crown jewell in my studio though is my SSL Xlogic stero compressor. I bus everything from drums to bass through it. And almost always have it on the main bus."

Yes definitely. Waves has this SSL compressor plug-in, which is supposed to emulate the one I have in hardware. It doesn’t have that warmth, which is why I’m using the outboard hardware, but when I’m working on my laptop I’ll put it on the places where I know that I’ll use the actual compressor later. And the same a little bit with the Neve preamps; I use Waves Scheps 73, which is basically just a preamp and you can drive it a little bit.

In a Twitter post, Fehrplay shares a glimpse of his studio, where he uses the Arturia Analog Experience The Laboratory 49 MIDI Controller.

A Mac Pro is the center of Fehrplay's studio setup, and can be seen in a photo he shares on Twitter.

For producing on the go and while on tour, Fehrplay relies on his MacBook Pro.

Photos of Fehrplay's studio setup reveal he owns Dynaudio BM6A MKII Monitors, amongst other sets of speakers to check his mixes on. He later replaced the Dynaudios, but has good things to say about them in his Reddit AMA: "I've been using Dynaudio bm6a for many years and was very happy with them."

Auralex Studiofoam Wedges can be seen in Fehrplay's studio, to treat the room and make the sound more accurate.

Look closely at Fehrplay's open Logic session and you will spot he uses the Vengeance Producer Suite: Multiband Sidechain2 Plugin.

Fehrplay mentioned using Sugar Bytes Effectrix in a tweet about wrapping up a remix in his Logic project.

Fehrplay uses the Arturia ARP2600 V Software Synthesizer, as mentioned in a Reddit AMA with Fehrplay and Jeremy Olander.

"What synths I use for bass lines varies. But my go to synths atm are the vintage synth pack from Arturia. They are just huge, and so creative to work with. I also layer the synths alot, to try and make them as original as possible. I usually use to much processing (I'v been told) hehe. But normally its compression, reverb, eq, maybe another compressor, and a limiter. Its always different."

In response to "Bass/low end processing...fav plugin or trick?" Fehrplay says he uses the Waves Bass Rider Plugin, since it's "...pretty good on basslines with chord changes."
