Description
The Schecter DV4 bass is a powerhouse of sonic versatility and precision craftsmanship, designed for musicians who crave both depth and clarity in their sound. This electric bass guitar pushes the boundaries of what you expect from your instrument, delivering big, aggressive low-end tones without sacrificing the detailed nuances of your performance. Its active electronics system is engineered to amplify your style with a thick, heavy attack and a pronounced mid-range, perfect for metal, hard rock, or any genre that demands high-volume intensity.
At the heart of the Schecter DV4's dynamic sound are the EMG-MMHZ pickups. These dual-coil pickups, paired with an active 2-band EQ, offer remarkable tonal control, allowing you to shape your sound with precision. The pickups’ ceramic and steel magnets capture the punch and fullness of classic passive designs, yet add a contemporary brightness that enhances your playing clarity. Encased in a fully shielded design, these pickups minimize noise, ensuring a clean and powerful output.
The bass’s construction is also noteworthy. The neck, crafted from a solid 3-piece mahogany, is set with a durable joint, providing unmatched stability and sustain. Topped with a rosewood fretboard, it features 24 jumbo frets and striking black pearloid tribal inlays. Coupled with Schecter tuners and sleek black chrome hardware, the DV4 bass is as visually captivating as it is sonically impressive.

Best basses Gibson never made.
I have 2 of these.Out of 9 various basses(including Gibson and Ricky-which I love) these 2 are my main touring and recording basses. They can take a beating and play great-great set necks-killer looks and with a couple of tweaks-great sounding. They come standard with EMG BT pre-s,which most of my basses have, and I replace the EMG MM pickups with Bartolini MMCs.Love'em.
