Review: SKB PS-55 stagefive Pedalboard - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The SKB SKB-PS-55 Stagefive Pedalboard impresses with its robust design, versatile power options, and thoughtful features like stereo outs and a cable tester. It's a pedalboard built for the touring professional, offering reliability and convenience with a million-mile warranty on the case. However, its hefty size and weight might not suit every guitarist, and it lacks in accommodating rare voltage requirements for niche pedals. Despite these minor drawbacks, its comprehensive power configurations and rugged construction make it a top contender for those seeking a durable, all-in-one pedal management solution.

Time/Stress Saver

I use the Stagefive to power all of my pedals, and it saves a ton of time with setup.

eddie_wyt

how do you have it set up? I basically have it used to power my pedals but dont use any of the inputs on the top, they confuse the fck out of me and i cant find anything on the internet on how to do it

hellojohnryan

Guitar >> Preamp Bypass Input (I don't use the buffer) To effects input >> first pedal Then run all the pedals however you want to Last pedal >> From Effects Output (Loop A) To Amp Input >> To Amp Input (Face of Amp)

There's a way to run all of your time-based effects as a separate loop, too. Basically, you wire Loop B the same way and run all of your time-based effects into the back of your amp.

I get all of my dirty tones with the EHX Soul Food and Tube Screamer Turbo, so I just run everything into the front.

I hope this helps!
