Good stuff

Almost like an exciter-

Great sounding EQ over all. I've never used the real EQ 4 but I have used the EQ 3 back in the day-

My favorite part of this as many have commented is the air band. It's almost like an exciter & just sounds fantastic on loads of stuff- Guitar, pads, strings, female vocals, etc. It's a fantastic piece of kit I'd happily recommend to a friend.

Added note: this puppy is working fantastic on ribbon mics. Granted, my Royer takes EQ well but this guy is beating out a load of my regular favorites. Very clear high end w/o getting shrill, harsh, or tinny.

I don’t like many plugin EQ’s- for that matter I try & do away with the need to EQ much in tracking- this guy is a welcome surprise

There’s also a UAD Maag EQ4 on the ride cymbal. I love that EQ because it has a unique top end that adds some air and just opens up the sound.
